We did not want a doorbell that had a recorded chime and that was all we could find in the local stores. This one has a real chime and fits our needs perfectly. Looks great

Excellent craftsmanship and the chime was so easy to install. Had the whole thing up in less than 15 minutes.

The inside was the basic stansard issue (plenty of plastic) interior - fine I guess. The exterior part I think is nicer than what I've seen before (and what I'm replacing). Well see how long it lasts given the same componentry as the one that melted from a short in the wire which caused rapid-repeated hammer motion until the unit melted..

I went to a home tour many months back and saw what they had in the homes was this exact door bell cover. i had been looking to replace my old delapited door bell I had. I asked the lady where they had purchased it and she told me Knobes and Hardware. so I went on line and found it. I knew in my mind it was going to be very expensive but I didn't care because it was exactly what I was look for. Well, to my surprise when I found it on there web sight I couldn't believe how resonably priced the door bell was/is. I was so excited, I order it. 6 days later I received it in the mail and i just love it. I couldn't be more happier. It looks absolutely perfect in my home.
